I am still recovering from a very different sort of Valentine's Day, I'm still seeing through rose colored glasses. Have you heard of a pink lake? There are a number of famous ones that have popped up on my desktop via blogs and Pinterest. They are just the coolest. According to Wikipedia, the lake's color is "usually due to the presence of algae that produces carotenoids, such as Dunaliella salina." Have your travels ever found you on the banks of a pink lake?
