POST IT

A Post-it note is a piece of stationery with a re-adherable strip of adhesive on the back, designed for temporarily attaching notes to documents and other surfaces. Although now available in a wide range of colors, shapes, and sizes, Post-it notes are most commonly a 3-inch (76 mm) square, canary yellow in color. A unique low-tack adhesive allows the notes to be easily attached and removed without leaving marks or residue, unless used on white boards.

Post-it notes were invented by 3M's Art Fry, using an adhesive developed by a colleague, Spencer Silver. Until the 1990s, when the patent expired, they were produced only in the 3M plant in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Although other companies now produce sticky or repositionable notes, most of the world's Post-it Brand notes are still made in Cynthiana.

The term "Post-it" and the canary yellow color are trademarks of 3M. Accepted generic terms for competitors include "sticky notes", "repositionable notes", and "repositional notes". To take advantage of the success of the brand, 3M manufactures other products related to the Post-it concept.

Terrarium Magnets

Such a clever re-purposing idea. With a few air plants, white spray paint, gravel, and a little moss, inexpensive refrigerator spice magnets become mini modern terrariums. Learn how to make them. I'd like to coat an entire wall with magnetic paint for a full on vertical garden. Cool, yes?

Pineberries

Has anyone tried these yet? Pineberries are a new hybrid of white strawberries that taste like pineapple. Don't they look like regular strawberries flipped inside out? I'm so curious to taste them, but I don't think they're available in the INDIA.

What's next... strawnanas? Hope so! or Manganans.. How about a smoothie to cool off ??? EAT PRAY LOVE all over again !

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a holiday held on May 5. It is celebrated nationwide in the United States and regionally in Mexico, primarily in the state of Puebla.The date is observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride,and to commemorate the cause of freedom and democracy during the first years of the American Civil War. Happy Cinco de Mayo to all my Mexican friends living everywhere around the world !!!! Bring out the Tequilla I say !
