Photographer Irene Suchocki's photography is like looking into someones wonderful daydreams. The scapes she creates with lighting and her wonderful vintage camera's gives this nostalgic and hazey feel that's absolutely mesmerizing. These are the kinds of places I imagine myself escaping to when I'm daydreaming!

La Vie de Luxe
Are you familiar with photographer slim aarons? if you are, then you already know how he perfectly captured the jet setters of the 50s and 60s! if not, you’re in for a treat. his subjects ranged from pucci-clad italian princesses to waspy american socialites. his photos have this amazing combination of day-in-the-life and other-worldliness. of course his “day in the life” isn’t anything like my days, let me tell you! as slim said himself, he photographed “attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places.” his style is often imitated, but he was one of the first photographers who didn’t take stiff, formal portraits opting to photograph people in their natural habitat. their very fabulous and glamorous natural habitat. let’s pack our bags, and tag along for a day in the sun!
Two bikini-clad holidaymakers enjoy a glass of wine outside the carlton hotel, cannes.” i like to think of myself as a holidaymaker.

Loving Life.. !
After months of handling what I thought was Depression -- because I gained piles of wieght, binged ate, fought, bickered, did no work, almost in shambles -- I now feel like a new person.. And can happily say "I LOVE MY LIFE"
I stopped blaming others for what happened. For I am responsible for my life. No one else cares to hoots what happens to you in this day and age. One minute you could be someones BFF and the next minute she could have easily back stabbed you for greener pastures... You could have been a millionarie one minute and the other minute its all gone !!!
If you love your life, you've made it.

Forbidden Fruit Desert
Common now, everybody knows GOOD LOOKING FOOD is like the forbidden food for people who are on a DIET. This is my everytime thing. When on a diet – I automatically finds myself surfing Food related blogs, websites etc. So I have only just dieted for 5 days and I have started making a list of MUST-COOK-AND-EAT once I reach my GOAL weight !!! Hahahahaha ... the sad sad story of my life. So instead of boring you with the blah blah of weight and my life I am going to quickly tell you an easy desert receipt which involves Peaches !

Spiced Peaches après Leslie Thompson
1 can large firm peach halves
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 stick 3″ cinnamon
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 T. vinegar
Drain syrup from peaches and pour syrup in sauce pan. Add the cloves and cinnamon. Boil rapidly until 1/2 c. syrup remains. Add brown sugar and vinegar and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over peaches in jar. Let stand overnight. Can be served hot or cold.
You can also serve on top of a tart, too. Now making a TART is another BALL GAME ! But thanks fo Hyper Market and Super Markets around the corner – you can now find ready made Tart Shells !!! Happy Eating !
