Eggy Sunday Inspiration for Easter

Today I went a little rabbit crazy, and today I’m continuing our egg obsession with a roundup of all things egg inspired. From tiny egg candles and egg plates to egg-shaped pet beds and paperclip holders, I tried to find eggy designs that would suit a wide range of styles and budgets. While I’ve got my eye on this incredible egg-bot kit, I think I’ll end up with something a little simpler, like an egg candle. Either way, it’s going to be an egg-celent online shopping day .

Wedding Decor Inspiration

Dr. Seuss Wedding Inspiration

Color, color, color — it seems like we can’t get enough of it these days! So when this styled shoot from Sean and Amanda Photography landed in my inbox, I knew we were hooked right away. An all-star team of Atlanta vendors, including Juli Vaughn DesignsJulia’s Poppies Design, and Atlanta Cake Studio jumped on board to pull everything together, and we’re gobsmacked by their creativity!

Ofcourse, all this is a whole lot different from my wedding decoration Finalisation. It all seems so so very tough. First setting a date with both the fathers, making sure the decorator is there in time. Ofcourse all this has to be arranged in between the distribution of cards etc. I literally had to come back from a holiday by cutting it a little short to run errands of every sorts.

Result being that I am a little tired of travelling, plotting and planning. Maybe thats why they recommend you to take a HONEYMOON !!! Did I tell you... it is the amazing Peru & Ecudorian terrain that i am dreaming off !! Till then enjoy this one... Do you think you can every have such nice things at your wedding ??

Halloween Porch

So I'm thinking about decorating our front porch up nice. Stylish and classy. I love these 3 front door ideas with gold pumpkins, eerie birds, and ominous branches.

Do you get trick-or-treaters where you live?

A Neutral Christmas

Every year I take it upon myself to write out atleast to about 3 dozen pen friends I have made in my 25 years of existence. While the list keeps growing -- the disposable time keeps diminishing. Its already the 15th and I still havent bought the Christmas Cards yet !!!! And now - if i was the send , the mail man will go on holiday and my mails are not going to reach the 4 corners of the world. So I ask for forgiveness to those who always expect my post card - to let me free this time round. The cards will reach 15th January : ((

But look at this neutral shade pallet for Christmas... who says you need to be RED and GREEN and CHRISTMASSS !!!

A Hilltop Cottage in Nova Scotia

Two interior designers from Los Angeles fell in love with Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia and built this simple Scandinavian-style cottage on the bluff for only $350k. It overlooks a national park to the north, the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the west, forested hills to the east, and headlands to the south. Sweeping views and seclusion... my top two requirements in a dream home.

Grey on my Mind

It’s either BLACK or WHITE for me all the way !! I am straightforward and sometimes to Grey lovers I can be annoying. I like this certain. I have never been a fan of something in-between. I bet on things I am sure off. I push myself to things I am unsure of – I also know when to quit and say – ITS DONE ! I’m FINISHED… ! I’ve been in the grey area with a friend for the last couple of months. We try – and I’ve been there long enough. One would think its about time I start liking the whole scenario. But no ! Not liking GREY is in my character… and for as much as I try – I don’t think I can ever like this uncertain colour.
But for those of you who do like the colour Grey – or are enjoying something in-between, waiting your time out, waiting for a possibility, for a ray of hope – enjoy the dull shoddy colour in some amazing design, interiors and art deco …!

Decoration de Table !

Have spent quite a few evenings in frantic haste trying to decorate my house to host a dinner party... !! Design and decorations comes quite easily to my sister, Dhwani Doshi of Creative Chase Design. You can check her work out on www.creativechase.in - who can cook up stuff out of thin air. But I am a person of method. And for me - I file and folder pictures so that when in need I pull this one book out and find stuff to put together. Here are some beautiful center pieces for tables !! Have fun exploring..
