Flowers For Men?

Ah, April. The month of summer-love. Fresh Rs 20 farmers market flowers are always a winner in my book, on a tangent - only until a few weeks ago I blatantly refused liking receiving flowers. I've never given Kuki flowers before, so I wonder if he'll appreciate them. Ladies, do you give your man flowers? Gentlemen, do you enjoy receiving flowers?

Thankfully, the folks at KaBloom have put together a handy little guide to gifting the perfect man bouquet...

For: The Guy’s Guy
Pluck this: Fuji Mum or Blue Orchid
What it says: “You’re lively, fun, and easy to be around.”

For: The Party Boy
Pluck this: Orange Gerbera Daisy
What it says: “I like to have a good time – and you’re the first one I call to start the party!”

For: The Bad Boy
Pluck this: Orange Lily
What it says: “I’m not sure where this is going, but you have my attention.”

For: The Strong, Silent Type
Pluck this: Ginger
What it says: “You’re individualistic and strong, and I just can’t get enough.”

Green Gift Wrap

If I received gifts like these, it wouldn't even matter what was inside. Justina makes compostable, eco-friendly packages out of gorgeous leaves, flowers, and green artist's tape. I love how she steered clear of traditional holiday colors and brought in touches of yellow and pink. Such a refreshing idea for gift wrap, don't you agree?

Gift-WRAPPED

People who have known me for donkey years know I am nuts about gift wrapping and wrapping papers. Even as a grown up child of only 25 - I gift wrap as it is free at departmental stores only because I find pleasure in opening them... There, I have said it. I love Gift wrapped stuff. My friends who have known this - have grown to like me this way. On my 25th Birthday which was on 12th Nov - my best friend Pankti Chheda gave me 25 small cute gifts. If you ask me today to name all of them - I dont quite remember - what I do remember is that each one of them was neatly packed and sealed. Like a little girl I jumped opening each one after the other !!!

Arent these packages just lovely ?? Do you believe me when i say that I am in love with these packaging ??

Package your goodies

So, From the time I remember shopping at malls came into being somewhere in 1990's.. i was all but 10 and I remember walking into Shopper's Stop. My favourite thing about shopping there was not the mall experience. But at the end of your fine shopping experience a lovely lady beyond the cash counter asks you if you need it gift wrapped for free !!

So, my passion for packaging my goodies started then. Every little thing I bought - even if it was a small lip balm I got it gift wrapped. if I got 4 things, I would individually pack the 4 things seperately. The job of opening a crisp packing is something i cherish !! It's my best part of receiving anything.

Up until my 18th birthday - my parents and sister would make sure they package everything right. My sister excels at packaging stuff. Her company Creative Chase - info@creativechase.org do some fabulous things for people.

But now, apart from the gift I get from my sister - nothing is packaged : ( i hate having grown old for this reason. I have picked out some ways you can probably package your gifts or goodies. Maybe, you can even give me something : )
